We’re in the Short North at 11 Buttles Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
When do you release classes?
Quinci classes and events are released every 1-3 months each year. Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of our website to receive updates on when the new classes are available. We will email our subscriber list the day before classes are released to let you know the exact time they will go live. Set a reminder for yourself. We do not email you at the time of release–the classes go live on the website at the time we share in the email the night before. Follow us on Instagram for pop-up events.
What to expect at a Quinci class?
Arrive 5 minutes early to settle in and choose your seat around Deborah Quinci’s chef counter. You’ll receive a printed recipe to take notes throughout the class and bring home with you when you make the delicious dish on your own! Our classes are usually 6-10 people, depending on the recipe and involvement.
Deborah Quinci will walk you through the recipe step by step while sharing her expertise of the food, origin, etc. Have a question? She’s happy to answer your questions throughout the class. While Deborah has been in the U.S. for the past 30+ years, she was born and raised in Sicily and has traveled all over Italy. She loves sharing her stories and cooking knowledge with her classes.
You’ll learn how to make a delicious Italian dish, eat your creations, and enjoy the company of new friends in our kitchen. There’s no place like home at Quinci!
Should I bring an apron?
Aprons are not provided in classes. You’re welcome to bring your own, but it’s not required.
Do you serve wine during cooking classes?
Great food deserves great wine! We will suggest the wine from our Quinci selections that pairs well with the food we are preparing for class, but also permit you to choose otherwise from our selection. If you wish to have wine tastings with the meal, the cost of each bottle will be in addition to the class fee. Bottles of wine not fully consumed will be corked for you to take home.
Per usual, we do not allow outside wine to be brought into the shop, since we have a wonderful selection of our own for sale.

Do you give Class Refunds?
We have a no refund policy for class cancellations. With a week's notice, we can transfer you to another class or give you credit for future classes. If you cancel within 2 days of class, you may substitute someone else.
